About The Role: The Construction Superintendent is a traveling position that works on-site across multiple locations for Loloft. You will report directly to the Project Manager. The Superintendent ensures that all of our construction projects are executed flawlessly and demonstrates consistency in the behaviors listed below:

Operational Management
-Organize people, tools, and equipment and plan/manage multiple activities to accomplish desired
-Participate with the project manager in preparing a schedule of construction activities and their sequence, the organization structure, staff selection, and the manpower and construction equipment requirements of the project
- Prepare and distribute a three-week look-ahead schedule(s).
- Ensure subcontractor compliance with safety, environmental, and quality control programs.
Cross functional collaboration & stakeholder management:
-Coordinate the activities of subcontractors to permit them to perform their work effectively and to integrate it with project schedules and sequence of events for each project.
-Report regularly to the project manager to keep them constantly informed on job progress, plans, and problems that could significantly affect costs or schedules
-Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and the employees while maintaining a constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations
-Ensure vendors and subcontractors are paid in a timely manner after review/approval of invoice sand payment requests.
Project management, administration & compliance.
-Maintain project record set of drawings, updating all changes, revisions, and other modifications over the course of the project.
-Verify and document all changes to the record set of drawings and keep track of the same on a red line set of drawings.
-Assist the project manager in their duties including prompt shipment of materials and permanent equipment and obtaining approvals of shop drawings and material samples
-Assist in the preparation of all job progress and cost reports to accurately reflect actual costs
-Review and approve all requisitions, field purchase orders, invoices, and other significant reports and documents.
-Maintain a daily log to permanently record all significant project facts, events, conditions, visitors, owner representative contacts, commitments, agreements, and approvals
-Verify the completion of all necessary inspections, approvals, and certifications by appropriate
Ad-hoc:
Responsible for material handling: site layout, material count, unloading and loading, ordering and pick up or delivery of materials missing from original shipments, and site cleanup.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ yrs of Industrial Construction experience (warehouse/distribution centers preferred)
5+ yrs as a Superintendent
Experience in Cold Storage or Food processing
Proficient in using Word, Excel, Google Drive, Procore, Smartsheet
Preferred Qualifications:
Willing to travel via air or ground, often on short notice, and work on prolonged field assignments
OSHA 30-hour certified
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to: standing or walking for long periods of time, occasionally on uneven terrain, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing stairs, and/or lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds
